Pride in Learning Montessori School offers loving, high-quality early childhood education in a safe and serene setting close to Oakland's town of Montclair. We have openings for children from 3 months to 5 years old for our infant/toddler daycare and preschool program. Our seasoned staff of committed educators are all Montessori trained and certified and are wholly dedicated to providing your child with loving, consistent care, and quality educational opportunities, in a safe environment for exploration and growth.
Our son goes to pride in learning Montessori - Montclair campus off of thornhill. He’s been going since he was 9 month old and he is thriving. He is now 19 months and he knows how to use sign language and he is learning to talk and improve his vocabulary. We love the curriculum. The teachers are super loving and kind and I am pregnant with my second arriving may 2021 also and I plan on putting my baby in the infant program around 3 months part time. I had a nanny with my son from 3 months to 9 months and I really wish I’d put him in the daycare sooner. Good luck.
We had an excellent experience at both the Lake Merrit and Montclair locations, though the majority of our son's time at PIL was in Montclair. Dara, Itzel and their team were fantastic, and we really saw our son grow, come out of his shell, and come home happy every day. The Montclair location, situated in a church in the woods, is beautiful and a great place to spend your days growing up. We'll miss them terribly and hope other families get to a chance to have the same great experiences our son did.
