One Big Love Studio Summer Art Camp
Art Camps for children 7 - 12 years of age
This program is pretty magical: in her lush yard full of flowers and inspiration, Iranshid has created a loving, fully-equipped studio for young artists.
If your child is a creator, they will get extremely well-qualified encouragement, tools, advice, hugs (and sometimes homemade popsicles). We participate in the after school program and day camps during school breaks, and we just couldn’t be happier. In summer, her camp sessions have themes and sometimes use different media (papier-mâché, clay, portraiture, etc.) and she provides lunch.
Word of mouth on this program is really strong, especially in Glenview and surrounding neighborhoods, but if you have a young artist in your family looking to mature their craft and have lots of fun, i strongly recommend you grab a spot.
One Big Love studio in Oakland is wonderful for helping kids develop strong skills in drawing and painting (they offer other classes during the summer, too). It’s a little bit of a drive from Berkeley, but we’ve found it to be worth the trouble. There are school break camps and also summer sessions.
