I can’t say enough wonderful things about Vero and her daycare. After my neighbor moved away and I had to place my son in daycare at 7 mo it was really hard. I tried a few things and nothing was working; he would cry excessively and HATED it and it broke my heart. A coworker told me about Vero. At first I thought it was too far because we live near Crockett. When nothing was working I decided to give it a chance. Right away on day 1 my son didn’t cry at all. Vero and her family were family for my son. He was constantly learning and feeling safe and nurtured, esp, so young. Vero feeds the children well and healthy! She helped potty train our son too. It was a huge relief for me knowing my little one was cared for as I would care for him while I’m away at work. Knowing he’s comfortable and feeling loved made working doable while he was so young. We stayed with Vero until preschool. I’m due with my 2nd now and trying to make it work with my older son’s school to take baby to Vero’s again. In all honesty, I think you would struggle to find better care and love. Vero and her team are consistent - not teachers coming and going and being out sick. That’s important to your little one- they need someone to count on. Vero truly cares and loves your child - so important too and not super easy to expect. Vero speaks Spanish to the children as well, which was great immersion for my son. Lastly, Vero has a great routine with dancing and yoga and crafts- my son was always learning there and coming home with new skills.  Again, I can’t say enough. Vero and her family are wonderful.

This is my first year of parenting without Vero and her family, and it's actually hard to contemplate. I sent both of kids to Vero from the time they were babies until they graduated into pre-school, and I was always so happy about the care that they received. They love Vero, and she loves them-- what more do you ask for? Vero supported me in my job, and allowed me to confidently pursue my career. A couple things I loved about Sweet Little Ducks: (1) Vero's whole family watches out for the kids, (2) Vero was always willing to work with me if I needed to be early or late due to travel or another situation, (3) Vero supported my kids through potty training!, (4) The kids always came home with songs, books, and art projects, (5) Healthy meals! She introduced both my kids to solid foods and got them to eat an incredible array of foods. I'm sure there's plenty I'm forgetting right at this moment, but I recommend Vero to any new parent!

VERO is a hero in our family. We honestly do not know where we would be without her and her family. Before Vero, we had a less than perfect experience with child care and finding her was an awakening. She deeply, I mean deeply cares about our children. Probably more than we do. I am serious, her level of care is exceptional. She is always there for you and her care extends to the parents with little touches here and there to make your life easier. We couldn't be happier and often joke about never wanting to leave!

Between two kids, our family has been going to Sweet Little Ducks for over 4 years. Honestly, it made the decision to have a second kid easier, because I knew that the new baby would be in good hands after parental leave. I never worry about my kids when they're with Vero because I have so much trust in her and her staff. I know Vero takes running a daycare very seriously and that's one of the reasons I trust her so much. Everything from staying up on certifications to nutritional needs and more recently, Covid-19 protocols, she'd got it all down. Vero used to be a teacher and that comes across in the educational and enriching environment she provides. At the same time, she is very approachable and flexible with the parents! We love Vero and my kids ask about her when we're at home on the weekends. She goes above and beyond. I feel so lucky to have stumbled across Vero and the perfect daycare!

My daughter has been attending Sweet Little Ducks for just over 2 years! As an early childhood educator myself, I had high expectation for rising care for my LO, and Vero and her staff have met my expectations. Sweet Little Ducks is daycare that feels like your leaving your child with a caring family member, while also getting the preschool educational experience. I love that it’s a mixed age group and my daughter can engage with kids of all ages, and the group is very diverse!! Other notable perks are that the children are serve homemade meals, get Spanish language exposure and get play in a lovely outdoor space!! Vero is the best, she is nurturing, organized and a pro.

My son has been going to this wonderful gem of a daycare/preschool for almost 2 years now and he loves it. Vero is the owner, her small team of wonderful woman take such good care of the kids that go here. She cooks wonderful organic meals for them, that my picky eater son eats up and even has seconds. Her home is like a second home to my son and I so appreciate the love and care he receives here. She has a mini park/farm in the back and that's what sold me from the start besides all the other wonderful things, its truly a fun place I even wanted to spend my days here feeding the chickens, bunnies and others pets. I can't speak highly enough of Sweet Little Ducks I truly feel lucky to have found such a special and supportive place for my son to grow and learn in.

My son attended Sweet Little Ducks for 3 years. We are so glad to have found this day care run by sweet "Vero!" She loves my son and all "her babies" as her own.

She follows a routine every day with group organic meals. She is magic--I don't know how they are all quiet and well behaved while eating! They have class time where all the kids are invited to circle time to learn numbers, colors, animals, alphabet and storytime. They have outdoor time several times a day. The backyard is well shaded under giant shade trees, with many animals and climbing structures. Her courtyard is another outdoor area for wheeled bikes, bubble chasing and ball bouncing.

She has a wonderful playful way to cajole kids into good behavior, lots of hugs and little rewards. Her helpers are also very calm and kind. My son has learned spanish from daycare, and is fluent (we are english speakers at home). The kids all interact beautifully, making faces at the babies, but not touching them, sharing, being kind, and my son learned to be a good helper!

My son loved going to her house, and often didn't want to leave! Even now, we go back for visits. I can't say enough about Vero's warm caregiving. She's truly a gem!

Hands down Sweet Little Ducks daycare is the best place ever.  My daughter has been coming to this daycare since she was 5 months old.  She is now two years old and Vero is like a second mother to her.  She takes great care of all the kids here as if they were her own.  They all love and play and have so much fun here.  Vero offers wonderful home cooked healthy meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks for the kids.  The best part as well is she speaks spanish to the kids all day long so they all know english and spanish.  Vero also teaches the kids daily in english and in spanish.  Like real teaching - alphabets, colours, numbers, days of the week, writing, drawing.

Vero is also very accommodating. I text her daily about my daughter and she always responds promptly with details.

I love Vero and her helpers so much and so happy my daughter comes here.  I never have to worry because I know she's in great hands!

This is a lovely daycare! Vero and the girls that help her are SO genuine and loving! There is plenty of space for the kids to roam around including a huge backyard with chickens, birds and a turtle! :) She makes delicious homemade meals and snacks that even my picky daughter enjoys. Vero is easy to communicate with and texts, which makes it easy to stay in touch. She does typical preschool things including songs, letters and artwork with the kids. I have always felt the utmost in comfort dropping my daughter off with Vero and highly recommend this place to anyone needing childcare!

What sold me on Sweet Little Ducks is the affection Veronica and her family shows my little one. My son is 3 and has been with Vero since he was 18 months. She treats each child in her care as if as they were her own.

The facility has a great layout.  The converted garage is the classroom. You would never know it was a garage. There is so much light inside for the little ones to play, read and have fun.  There is a courtyard in the center and the kids eat and sleep in the house.

The children get to eat the eggs from the chickens that live in the backyard. The other animal and pets are turtles, birds, a small fish, Mia the cat and dogs.  All of the animals are in appropriate enclosures which allow the children to safely view the animals.

Veronica prepares organic meals and snacks throughout the day. She also provides potty training assistance. Which was great for me, because she reassured me and my husband that our son was ready to transition from diapers to undies.

An added bonus is that my son is learning Spanish.  She prepares the children for school all while having fun.

I am happy to have found her.  I will be sad when my son has to move on.

My 3 years old son and 2 years old daughter, have been enjoying Sweet Little Ducks daycare since their very first day, eight months ago. At the beginning I was afraid that they would not want to stay long (it is their first daycare), but they did not want to leave when I went to pick them up! Veronica knew how to create the joyful and familiar environment for them to enjoy until the last minute. She really cares about the the children having a good and quality time in the daycare. After a week, I could already see how my kids felt comfortable with her.
Veronica´s place is spacious and has a nice backyard to enjoy the outdoors, were they have frequent picnics and lots of fun. She prepares healthy and homemade food for them and they love it! As they love dancing, reading stories, drawing and learning numbers and letters with her (in English, and Spanish as well).
At the beginning, I was worried about finding the right daycare for my little kids, now I am happy and I have complete peace of mind knowing that they are in really good hands.
If you are looking for a daycare, I strongly recommend Veronica's Sweet Little Ducks . You will love it and your child will too :)

My daughter has been cared for at Sweet Little Ducks for a year and a half, ever since I had to stop my telecommuting agreement when she was a year old. She loves it! When she wakes up, she asks if she's going to school that morning, and can't wait to get there. Vero plays games, sings songs, fixes good meals and snacks, and manages to help her little group learn about letters and numbers. My daughter shares and takes turns, and calls all the other kids her best friends. When she's picked up, there's always artwork to show. Her experience has been so good, I sent one of my co-workers there for his son's care.
