Tennis camp or lessons
Hi, I know it's late in the summer to look for a camp, but my 12-year-old daughter has finally agreed to learn tennis. We've been trying to talk her into it, but having a boyfriend who's obsessed with tennis is what finally got her to change her mind. She's never played and is worried about being really bad. I was hoping there's a summer camp that has week-long sessions on the week of Aug 4 or Aug 11.
Any suggestions?

I don't have any experience with this camp, but I've been dropping my daughter off at Albany high school for swim camp this week and there appears to be a tennis camp on the tennis courts next to the pool. Probably affiliated with the city of Albany though I'm not sure. Might be worth checking out!
The Claremont hotel and resort still has kids tennis camp spots for those weeks but you’d want to call and check. You can still sign your kiddo up if you’re not a member of the club.
Here’s a link to the registration form. I know the person in charge and he’s great with kids and instruction.
Most likely, the city where you live offers week-long tennis camps. For example, El Cerrito offers morning and afternoon sessions for the week of 8/4 and 8/11, at the Cerrito Vista tennis courts. Camp registration is less for residents than non-residents. So, your city's summer camp catalog would be a good place to look.
Crouching Tiger tennis has a camp via El Cerrito Rec for each of those weeks, M-F, 1-4pm. It looks like there is still space. https://www.el-cerrito.org/DocumentCenter/View/21536/Summer-Camp-2025-rECguide
