New Family Moving to San Leandro
Hi Everyone!
My two kids (1.5 & 5) and I (and my Husband joining at the end of August) are moving to San Leandro on Monday, July 16th from Southern California.
I would love any recommendations on things to do in the area with kids, if there are any groups that get together, or best places to eat with kids, etc.
We will be living in the Estudillo area and would love some advice and tips about things in that area as well.

Hi there! Theres a great kids play area at the local coffee house Zocalo and lots of local activities are posted there.
Also, check out the Community Impact Lab. They have an active Facebook site. Lots of moms (and some dads) with kid friendly, community service oriented activities.
Lots of families use the Roosevelt school playground after hours too. Another good place to meet folks. If its within your budget, a local gym, Bay o Vista, has a great kids pool and is very popular in the summer but its expensive.

Check out the mom tot group Community Impact Lab on facebook. It's a big, friendly group and most the members are in San Leandro. They do volunteer stuff (with the kids) but also just socializing.
