Looking for a dentist for my son
Hello, everyone. My adult son has autism. He has a profound developmental disability without an intellectual disability. He is a Registered Veterinary Technician, currently unemployed. I am assisting him in finding a dentist, who (1) is very good, (2) is kind and compassionate, (3) works in the Berkeley area, and (4) accepts MediCal. My son has not seen a dentist in over four years, so he will probably need a good deal of work. Anyone know anyone? Thanks so much.

Ok, you mentioned that you wanted someone in Berkeley area, but as I know it's very hard to find a good dentist who will accept MediCal, if you don't find one in Berkeley, we have a gem of a fabulous dentist in North San Leandro, Select Dental. Dr. Ali Mola is a wonderful dentist and person. he's friendly, honest, and does impeccable work. He's a perfectionist, and won't give you poor quality work like a crown that has a gap (which many many dentists will do, and will lead to decay of your tooth underneath as well as awful taste in your mouth). He's also very caring, which is why he accepts a wide range of clients. My husband and I just love him. Nicest guy ever.
