Hair stylist for gender transitional cut?
I’d like recommendations for a skilled stylist who can cut wavy thick hair into a style that is flattering regardless of gender, and who will empathize with the client. The client is growing their hair longer from a standard male length and needs to have it look flattering and gender neutral. Thanks.

My non-binary kid gets great gender-neutral cuts from Kendall Lockaby at Blade & Arrow Salon on Solano. Kendall is very empathetic and a very good listener. My kid always comes away with the style they want - and they have experimented quite a bit! Kendall cuts our whole family's hair now and we love her.
Our trans child with thick and hard to control hair has gotten cuts and trims from Jamie and 17 Jewels in Oakland. I had really short hair and grew it out. Jamie also did a great job keeping my hair look cute from super short to short bob and now shoulder length. Jamie's scissor work is truly excellent.
