Subscribing as a Doula

If you'd like to post about your doula services on BPN you have four options:

1. Doula in Training: We will accept one post for no cost announcing your free or discounted doula services as you complete your training. Your post will appear in the Announcements newsletter under "Services for Families" and will remain published on our website for 30 days.  Please contact us and include the text you would like us to post, a title for your post, and the city or cities you serve.

2. Postpartum Doula or Night Nanny: Purchase a nanny subscription ($35 for one year) and you can post to the Childcare listing for nannies and babysitters every 30 days for one year.  Note this lower-cost option does not allow you to post general announcements about doula services, only about your postpartum services. Subscribe here under "Nanny or Sitter"

3. Doula Solo Practice: small business ($75 for one year).
  • Post to the Childcare listing every 30 days if you offer postpartum services.
  • Post announcements under "Services for Families" every 30 days for one year. New posts are included in the weekly Announcements newsletter mailed to BPN subscribers.
  • We'll create a profile page under your business name. Parents can post reviews of you directly to your profile page, and your current announcements are displayed here too.
  • Your business will be included in the Doula Listing.

Subscribe here under "Classes" - choose the $75 subscription.  See How to Publicize Your Business on BPN for more information.

4. Doula Group Practice: business ($250 for one year)

How can parents post reviews of me on BPN?

BPN subscribers can post reviews of doulas in three ways:

  1. If you subscribe as a doula business, either solo or group, you will have a profile page on the BPN website.  Parents who subscribe to BPN can post a review of you directly to your profile page. These reviews are permanently published on BPN's website.

  2. If you are a postpartum doula, parents can post a review of you to the Childcare listing under "Parent recommending a nanny or caregiver."  These reviews are published for 30 days and then they expire.

  3. If someone asks for doula recommendations in Parent Q&A, parents who have used you can respond to the question with a review of you.  These reviews are published permanently on the relevant advice page, such as Birth Doulas or Postpartum Doulas. They are also published on your profile page if you are a business subscriber.
