Wait List at Oakland School for the Arts
Hi there. We are seeking advice on the OSA. Wait list. We are number 2 as of June. Anybody know if the waitlist continues to adjust during the first week of school? Is there a lot of movement?

Yes, the waitlist continues to adjust. I'm not sure what grade your child is entering, but we also got in on the waitlist for our son's 6th grade year, and at least one of his classmates got in on the waitlist the first week of school. Fingers crossed for you - we are finding it a great fit for our family.
My Kid was 9th on the waitlist for high school and was given a space after the first week of OSA -- he had already been at Skyline for 2 weeks and had adjusted and was nervous to switch again ... but in year 3 at OSA HS and so happy we convicend him to go for it ...(my kid has significant anxiety and ADHD .. so if he could make the adjustment , most others could too) Good Luck but I would say with 97% certainly yours will get a spot...
