Seeking climate support group

Is anyone aware of local support groups for parents (or anyone really) who is deeply concerned and upset about climate change? My baby will be 78 in the year 2100 and it's not looking good from here... Are you aware of any therapist-led support circles, meditation groups, or activism that focuses on emotion and connection, something accessible to folks with already full lives and no specialized skills?

Hi there!

I can relate to your concern!  I work for a nonprofit that recently did an exploration into climate change and youth mental health, and we surfaced these resources as part of our research.  I’m not affiliated with any of them, and I haven’t used them personally, but they seem generally aligned with what you’re seeking.  Some of the links point towards climate aware therapists locally, and some of them are remote support groups.  I hope this is helpful.  Feel free to DM me if you want more information. https://www.climatepsychology.us/climate-therapists https://workthatrec… (for youth not parents)
