We feel so fortunate that both of our daughters were able to attend Emma’s daycare from ages 20 months through 5 years old.

Emma and her wonderful team of teachers and aides provide such a safe, clean, and nurturing environment where kids truly thrive. From potty training and early motor and language skills to preparing for kindergarten, the staff guided our children with care and patience.

One of the things we especially appreciated is the multilingual environment—teachers speak Mandarin, Cantonese, and English. Our girls learned basic Chinese through songs, nursery rhymes, and lessons, which was a meaningful experience for our family.

Communication with parents is outstanding. We received daily updates at pickup, and Emma regularly shares photo albums of the children’s latest adventures (she somehow always manages to capture the best photos of our kids!).

As an experienced director and early childhood educator, Emma carefully curates age-appropriate activities that balance learning with fun. She and her team emphasize not just academics but also important life skills—our daughters learned routines like putting away their shoes, setting up for the day, and cleaning up after themselves, habits they still carry with them today.

Most importantly, under Emma’s care, our children had the space and support to explore, grow, and become confident, joyful little humans. Even now, they often ask if they can go back to visit, which we happily do.

We are so grateful for the love and care Emma and her staff have shown our family. We cannot recommend Emma’s daycare enough—it has been a special and integral part of our daughters’ early years.

Emma is to daycare what Michael Jordan is to basketball--an absolute legend. She's born to do this. Running a daycare isn't just her job, it's her art form. She creates this magical, loving home-away-from-home where kids not only feel safe and cherished, but also get to experience nonstop joy, creativity, and sunshine. For the past three years, my kid has grown into someone deeply rooted in the warmth of community and absolutely lit up by fun and curiosity. I truly believe that wouldn't have happened without Emma.

Drop-off and pick-up have become something unexpectedly healing for me. Watching little kids of all ages run to greet my child with hugs and smiles, seeing the way my kid bolts joyfully toward Emma and Popo (Emma's mom)--honestly, it helps me rewrite parts of my own childhood.

Some people say you shouldn't send your kid to a daycare where the caregivers also live. But they'd think twice if they spent even ten minutes watching what happens at Emma's. The play structures? Designed by Emma and built by her dad. The food? Home-cooked by Popo. The garden? Full of happy, well-loved plants thriving under the same magical care Emma gives the kids.

At this incredibly tender age, there is no place I trust more to nurture my child--to surround them with real love, friendship, all the pure and lovely things life has to offer.

Emma’s Daycare is a gem. We could not believe our luck when we found Emma—she is kind and creative and incredible with children of all ages. Our son started when he was 2.5 and stayed with her until the Friday before his first day of kindergarten. Because of Emma’s loving care and engaging curriculum, he is going to an immersion Mandarin school—something that would not have happened without her teaching my son Cantonese and Mandarin and encouraging his interest in the language. We are happily sending our second child to her daycare in a few months and recommend her without hesitation.
