Is your child struggling with spelling, writing, reading or processing information? I believe that every child and adult can become an avid reader, have impeccable literacy skills, and love to learn - I believe that it is our responsibility as parents and educators, to make sure of it. With over 15 years of experience in education, a Master's in Education and a passion to help children reignite their innate love of learning - I believe literacy is the key. I work with my clients one on one, around Berkeley and SF, using a unique method that enhances their Natural Learning Ability. Clients have expressed having more confidence, curiosity, and a renewed joy of learning. I've had clients tell me their kids ''cannot lose a spelling bee... Learning new words has become effortless?? I work with each client at their current speed and level. And, as they rebuild their foundation a natural acceleration occurs. Early Literacy and Spelling Tutor Working with early literacy students is an absolute joy. There are few things more satisfying than witnessing the pride and delight of children unlocking the mysteries of letters for the first time. For a tutor of many subjects, early literacy is about as magical as it gets. Using Words Their Way as a curriculum and a host of other games and activities, I have worked with students learning their alphabet to sixth graders struggling with spelling irregular affixes. I would love to help your child discover the joys of the English language! I have a Master?s in Elementary Education (2012) and have been a private tutor for 8 years. I live in Oakland and commute to students' homes throughout the Bay Area. Please email me or visit my website, www.futuristictutor.com, to learn more about me and all of the other academic and musical subjects I tutor. Thanks, Alexi Erenkov alexierenkov[at]gmail.com
