About the Program:
Hello Parents,
World Kids Academy is a language after school program located at the Oakland Asian Cultural Center in Oakland. Currently, our program offers Mandarin, Spanish and English classes for children Kindergarten through 6th grade.
Our program offers fun immersion project-based curriculum with interactive small group class discussions and with individualized learning plans. Students are encouraged to ask questions, research and experiment with their own learning, and critique the conclusion(s) they obtain. Our classroom culture and curricula assist students in the development of social emotional skills and understanding of cultural diversity.
