This review is for the Shining Star nursery, which is owned by the same people as the Shining Star Schoolhouse. The nursery is on Clinton Ave., a block off San Pablo. (It's a half mile from Planet Fitness at McDonald and San Pablo.)
I can't imagine a nursery better than Shining Star. The teachers there are kind and calm. It's *very* clean. (Adults don't wear shoes inside.) We visited some pretty dirty nurseries in the area and we're so glad that we found Shining Star.
The hours are 8:00am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. They're closed on public holidays.
The cost is:
$1755/month for 5 days per week
$1485/month for 4 days per week
You pay monthly regardless of how many days you go. So it comes out to be between $8.60 and 9.15 per hour.
If you're late picking your child up, the fee is $1 per minute, which is standard around here. If you need to drop your child off early or pick them up late, you can prearrange this with Preeya and pay a $10 fee.
