We absolutely LOVE Patty's daycare and could not be happier with the care our child receives from her and her employees! We starting sending our child to Patty's for full-time care when he was 6 months old. We were quite anxious as he is our first child and did not know much about the daycare world and care providers and what to expect. But from our first visit to look at the daycare to the first day we sent him there and ever since, we have felt supported, heard, comfortable, confident, and at ease. Simply put, Patty is a wonderful person and care provider: loving, kind, flexible, and communicative. She has decades of childcare experience, and clearly loves caring for children, seeing them everyday, and helping them grow and learn. She is an excellent provider for children of all ages, from babies to toddlers and beyond, and children absolutely adore her! Our child smiles literally ever time he sees her in the morning and is always excited to go to Patty's. He has grown and developed so much more ever since he started attending Patty's, as the daycare provides a wonderful and safe environment for children to play with each other, learn motor skills and early childhood educational basics, sing and listen to music, eat, nap, and venture outside. Our child first learned to crawl by getting inspired by the older children at the daycare and rolling and zooming back-and-forth across the big play room until he figured it out! She cooks healthy meals for the kids every day and helps each individual child keep a nap schedule that works for them and their parents. Her daily hours are extensive, from 7:30am-5:30pm, and she is very flexible about drop-off and pick-up times. If we ever have to come late or pick up early, we can just text her, there are no restrictions on timing (which is not always a given with daycares). She keeps track of naps, diapers, and meals, so we can know how our child's day was, and recently she began using a convenient app to track this information and share photos/videos with parents. Her sick policy is generous but also firm, following the basic childhood health tenets: no fevers, rashes, colored discharges--and she and her staff are all up-to-date on their vaccinations (including Covid-19). Patty largely speaks Spanish, but understands English very well and her employees are all bilingual. While neither me nor my partner speak Spanish fluently, because Patty is patient and understands English, the language difference has never been a barrier for us or for other families we know who attend her daycare and are not fluent Spanish-speakers. If there are ever more complicated issues to communicate, we can speak with one of her employees, who are always present and can translate between us. Speaking of which, the employees themselves are equally excellent care providers--Areli is a brilliant young childcare provider, who are child adores as much as Patty! Her payment process is simple, as we just use Zelle once a week to send the tuition, and she can provide her business information if you have a dependent savings account for reimbursement. Since our child began attending, Patty went through the process of increasing the capacity of her daycare license through the state of California, and is now accepting not only babies and toddlers, but young children as well. While some parents might be apprehensive about this increase in capacity, having seen Patty's daily process and level of care, we are actually excited for this development, as we know our child will be as safe and cared for as ever and will simply have more friends to learn from and relate to. As you can tell from this post, we really could not recommend Patty more highly. If you have questions, we'd happily share our experiences and perspective. We are so happy to have our child attending her daycare/preschool!

I have been sending my son to Patty's daycare for over 6 months, and have been very happy with the care. He quickly connected with Patty and felt comfortable with her - never crying once, and immediately jumping into her arms. They go to the park everyday the weather is nice, and spend lots of time outside. I often get photos via text on what they are doing. Patty makes it easy for working parents by cooking healthy food like fruits, veggies, beans, rice, chicken, so that we don't have to pack lunch or snacks every day. She also has long hours from 7:30-5:30, and can even watch them overnight if needed. I like that the daycare is small and has a low caregiver to child ratio– my son hasn't gotten sick too many times, and only had to stay home once or twice with a fever, which is much less than my friends at centers. I highly recommend this family daycare to anyone looking for a spot for their kid!

We've been trusting Patty to care for our younger daughter for the past 15 months. Her daycare site is perfectly located and set up to provide an engaging and safe environment. Patty is attentive and professional, it can be hard to find peace in leaving your young one with another, but I have found Patty to be incredibly nurturing and her experience evident in the way she handles multiple children at a time. I can not recommend Patty more highly.
