My daughter is going to be ready for preschool in a few months and I'm researching schools in Alameda. There hasn't been a new review for Little Seeds for a couple of years, and I would very much like to hear some recent opinions. Also, if anyone can especially recommend any other Alameda preschool, I'd love to hear about it! Thanks in advance for any help! -Christina
We highly recommend Little Seeds preschool in Alameda. Our 3 year old son has been attending this preschool for 8 months, and he is genuinely happy to see his teachers and classmates every morning. The teachers have been very accommodating of our son's needs, to include separation anxiety issues, speech development and potty training. The school does a great job in communicating with the parents. The campus is always clean. We've especially appreciated the balance of structured learning and play. We will happily keep our son at Little Seeds until he enters kindergarten. mary

My daughter attended Little Seeds Children's Center from 21 months until almost 4.5 years old. They provide excellent care and their preschool program is very impressive - they teach sharing, good manners, good communication as well as the academics. My daughter, who will be three next February, loves her school, Little Seeds, in Alameda (ask for Miss Imelda or Miss Mary) 865-5900 2055 santa clara at Willow. She's been there since last November and it's clean, well managed, has great student teacher ratio, great hours, few holidays and the kids all seem to be very happy there. There's an emphasis on sharing and taking turns, which is wonderful for everyone involved. I highly recommend checking it out. jessica

My daughter, who is 23 months old, has been at Little Seeds Children's Center in Alameda (2055 Santa Clara/Willow)for the past 2 months and really seems to be getting a lot out of it. There's a very good teacher to student ratio, loving, patient teachers with very small turnover, lots of creative activities, great hours (7AM-6PM M-F) and it's immaculate. I had looked at three other places, all comparable in price and I am very happy with our decision to go there. happy at Little Seeds
