Our son started at 14 months, and now at 17 months, he’s thriving. His language, motor skills, and problem-solving abilities have grown so much in just a few months. He’s coming home with new words, more independence, and a confidence that’s clearly coming from his time with Jo.

What makes Little Joey’s really special is the small group size and the care Jo puts into everything. She tailors activities and the play space to each child’s needs and development - it never feels cookie-cutter. You can tell she really sees each kid and meets them where they are.

Jo has a background in early childhood education (she worked at Duck’s Nest before starting her own program), and it shows. We get daily updates with photos and thoughtful notes, which I love - it’s so nice to feel connected to what he’s doing each day.

They also get outside a ton - local parks, drumming circles, and all kinds of fun, age-appropriate adventures. It’s exactly what we were hoping for in a daycare: nurturing, fun, thoughtful, and grounded in real early learning.

If you’re looking for a sweet, play-based in-home daycare for your little one, I honestly can’t recommend Little Joey’s enough.

I cannot recommend Little Joey's enough! Our 3-year old went here for two weeks this summer. She napped there on the first day, which really says a lot about her comfort level. Every day, she did fun, safe, healthy activities in and out of the home daycare. Communication was flawless, cost is very reasonable, and I felt good every day at drop off and pickup. Our daughter really enjoyed the experience and spoke of it very positively.
