Run, do not walk, to Ingridy's Place! My kiddo has been there since she was about 15 months and has really thrived there. The love and care that Ingridy and Marcela give to the kids is incredible and is evident every day. My kid barely registers that we are leaving when we drop her off. Ingridy is very responsive and communicative and she knows so much about child development. Despite having a small baby of her own, she has even made herself available after hours to talk through questions and concerns. Our daughter has learned so many songs, lots of new words in English and Spanish, and best of all, has learned new social emotional skills. I will be so sad when my daughter starts preschool this fall, but hopefully that frees up a place for you!

Ingridy and Marcela are amazing! I can't recommend this daycare enough! I sent my older son there from 4 months - almost three, and my younger son attends now. The quality of care is excellent. I trust them both 100% and the communication is great too. The kids all seem so happy and you can just tell that they are well cared for. My baby walks up the stairs to daycare and he can't wait to go inside. I will be incredibly sad to say good-bye to them when my youngest goes to preschool next year. I am very grateful I found this daycare and have nothing but positive wonderful things to say about it.

I cannot even put into words how lucky we were to have found Ingridy and Marcela.  My son started with them when he was about four months old, and my job transferred me out of the state so we had to leave when he was 18 months.  It honestly broke my heart to leave because it is obvious how much they love and care for my son, and I know I will never find another daycare that comes close to this one.  My son was always happy and excited to go in the mornings, and would run to Ingridy or Marcela to give hugs.  He would then come home every day with new words in both English and Spanish, and new dance moves :-).  Ingridy is also so easy to get in contact with at any time, which is wonderful for a first time mom; especially, in the beginning.  I am so appreciative of everything she has done for me my son, and I would not hesitate to recommend her daycare to anyone.

We whole-heartedly recommend Ingridy’s place. Our daughter has been there for 2y+. Ingridy & her assistant, Marcela, are loving & kind to the children. They prepare wholesome snacks & meals. Ingridy is communicative & helpful regarding developmental progress, good/ bad habits, eating/ sleeping patterns, and also illness/ medicines when it's appropriate. She has always been responsive by text & never hesitates to reach out when needed.

Our daughter is flourishing in their care and with the other children. I appreciate that there is a small, well-rounded mix of children - so there have always been younger & older children. From what I can tell, they play, eat, sing, sleep, and read throughout the day. They are happy and playful in my presence (no misbehaving!). Our daughter has always enjoyed 'going to' Ingridy's, she zooms out the door in the morning (often forgetting a goodbye), and returns at the end of the day with endless short stories.

Ingridy has been working with children for over 17 years and remains passionate about what she does. She hails from a larger family network who have daycares in the area. A few of our colleagues recommended Ingridy (and her family) to us and we have since passed many recommendations along.

So, yes, we whole-heartedly recommend Ingridy. I hope that helps & feel free to contact with questions. ~Tiffany

I'd like to recommend Ingridy's home daycare in El Cerrito, where my daughter has been enrolled since she was 10 months old (in June). When we moved to El Cerrito, a family we met highly recommended Ingridy's daycare, and all the other references we spoke to were equally enthusiastic. We have come to share their enthusiasm. Ingridy is a wonderfully warm, calm, caring presence with the children. In the apt words of another parent, she has ''a great mixture of kindness and firmness.'' I have seen her and her assistants ably manage a crowd of older toddlers as well as the current small, close-knit group of infants. The children have a variety of books and toys, a large backyard for outdoor play (+ outings to local parks), and healthy snacks. The children are all well-behaved and, even at a young age, considerate of others, and their individual personalities are respected and appreciated. Rates are quite reasonable. We've had to reduce my daughter's schedule to part-time, but we're still very happy with her care there. You're welcome to contact me with any questions.

I strongly recommend Ingridy's daycare in El Cerrito. She was recommended by a friend to us, and we have been very happy with her. Our daughter has been going to her since she was 4 months old and is thriving at her place. As parents, it is very reassuring when our little baby is smiling and happy at drop off. This was not the case with our older kid at a different daycare. Her rates are reasonable and she is wonderful with the kids. She gets assistance on days she needs help or is sick, which we really appreciate as working parents.
