Elsa Childcare

I had my daughter in Elsa Childcare for 3 years - from when she was 18 months old to when she was 4 years old. I was so impressed with my daughter's development throughout her time with Miss Elsa. At a young age, she took her shoes off upon entering anyones house, and she picked up her toys after herself. The sense of community and kindness and respect between the kids is so sweet too. They really become family, and my daughter has so much love for other kids and I feel it's because she has had such a positive foundation built from attending Elsa's Childcare. My daughter was writing the full alphabet by the time she was 3 years old, math (addition and subtraction) and reading by 4, and has a deep love for books. Miss Elsa also cultivates so much creativity in kids - drawing, dancing, and singing.

Ms. Elsa is an excellent childcare provider and an excellent child development teacher. Ms. Elsa loves to read books, organize art projects, sings, cooks healthy meals, she is very clean and organized. Ms. Elsa gives lots of love and teaches children about different cultures. I wanted to update my review to say we were so sad when our time with Elsa was over, but I know my daughter left with very solid attachment and relationship with her and learned so much while she was there. Elsa accepts everyone where they are and finds the positive in everyone. She knows how to gently guide kids (and parents!) to help their children with the next steps in their development. She is a gift to the childcare field in Oakland. Many friends and neighbors sent their kids (and second kids) to Elsa because they loved her so much. Elsa is an excellent child care provider who brings experience as well as dedication to teaching children. My experience in the past with my daughter has been a very positive one. I am glad to have had such a nurturing caregiver during her formative years. She has learned so much and I would recommend Elsa to all who are looking for a great daycare. 

Elsa is the most loving, gentle, dedicated daycare provider. Her babies and kids are so lucky to be with her and learn so much. My daughter has been there for over a year, and all the parents and kids are so attached to Elsa and her loving and busy, educational daycare.
