When we first met Diana our daughter was four months old and I was nervous about leaving my baby with a stranger. Diana graciously accommodated us by spending the first few visits at our house where she earned our daughter’s trust. Soon after I toured Casa Silvestre and was reassured by the thoughtfulness of the space: it felt safe, clean and welcoming for young children. Fast forward  a year and my daughter reaches out to hug her teachers at Casa Silvestre when it’s time to leave. She lights up when she sees her friends and returns home well fed, diapered, and loved. Diana is a very good communicator and has been very patient during scheduling snafus or changes. She is able to share how our child is doing from day to day and when a sleep challenge arose offered  helpful insights and encouragement when we requested support. I would highly recommend Casa Silvestre!

Casa Silvestre has been a beacon in this crazy journey as new parents. We returned to work when our baby was 4 months and were overwhelmed trying to find a daycare that could provide the type of close attention and nurturing care she needed at such a young age. Luckily we found Casa Silvestre on BPN, and sending our daughter here has been the most amazing decision for our family.

Our baby is still very young but has already developed an amazingly social personality and her skills are blossoming everyday, no doubt in part due to the stimulation, interaction, and TLC she gets at daycare. Their home has a calm, peaceful vibe, lots of enriching toys, and a large backyard play area. We love that our daughter goes on neighborhood stroller walks and field trips to the library for story time. As first time parents, we also appreciate that Diana and Santi are super knowledgeable in childcare, and will often give us little tips and pieces of advice when we stop to chat at pickup.

We cannot recommend Casa Silvestre highly enough!! We feel so grateful and lucky to have Diana and Santi be part of the "village" helping to raise our daughter!

We had a great experience with our 18 month old at the new daycare Casa Sylvestre. Diana and Sebastian (co-owners and teachers) are lovely warm and patient. It was their dream to start a child play-friendly small in home daycare, and we were one of their first clients. Our child got along very well with their child, who is kind and considerate.

They had numerous daily activities (water play, reading, outside play, shared meals, etc). They offered home made organic meals and snacks. They provided daily updates, and were particularly kind when our child was having trouble saying goodbye to us. They are a multi-lingual family and expose children to English, Spanish, and Portuguese and do so with love and patience.  Sending your child to daycare is a big (scary) decision, and this family took care of our child as if he were their own. We wholeheartedly recommend them for your young one.

We're happy to talk to other parents if that is helpful as you are considering.
