KlezCalifornia

KlezCalifornia connects people of all ages with Yiddish culture. We create participatory events, both independently and in collaboration with Jewish Community Centers, synagogues, and other groups. We publicize events involving klezmer music or Yiddish-inspired culture throughout the nine-county Bay Area and even beyond (all over Northern California), through our free, monthly e-newsletter. We hold klezmer workshops and jams in the East Bay, Palo Alto, and San Francisco. We make presentations about Yiddish culture to religious schools, Jewish day schools, and day camps.
