RE: Looking for afterschool choir for preteens + teens

I recommend Cantare Con Vivo in Oakland, which runs free after-school choirs for students in grades 6-12. I've watched the new Director of Children's Choirs, Daniel Strychacz, follow his passion for years. I believe the choir is still holding voice placements, but no one will be turned away. Voice placements and rehearsals are at First Presbyterian Church in Oakland, on 27th and Broadway. You can contact the director at daniel [at] cantareconvivo.org (daniel[at]cantareconvivo[dot]org), and check out the website (cantareconvivo.org), Facebook page (Cantare Children's Choirs of Oakland), and follow them on Twitter (@CantareConVivo).
