Welcome to the bay area! My husband is also phobic of dentists and luckily I found someone who worked wonders for us. He's in San Francisco, but his office is walking distance from Montgomery BART. His name is Roger Kussman, DDS. (415) 981-9000. He's very gentle, he understands the anxieties that people have and will tell you what he's going to do and what you're going to feel and explains everything. He's great, and his dental hygenists are magical. I like Helen the best. One time, I had to open my eyes to check if she was still working in my mouth! Good Luck! Maya
