As camp season approaches I could not resist sharing the highly regarded Westside Studio Art Camp. Jennifer Burke who runs the camp, founded YAWs, renovated the beautifully painted building at Totland and is a teacher at Prospect Sierra School. She is a most encouraging, energetic and loving art teacher. Each of my three daughters, of widely varying temperaments, has loved her classes and the camp. In the past Camp has included a variety of creatively themed projects, integrated field trips, snacks that enhance the cultural theme of the week and really the best,most instructive and creative art instruction I have seen anywhere. My oldest is now in college and still visits Jennifer's studio when she is back in Berkeley. Westside Studio camp is loads of fun and hugely enriching summer experience. Jolie
