Stepping Stones Project

The Stepping Stones Project guides and supports youth through long term mentoring and contemporary rites of passage.  We support the next generation to develop healthy relationships with self, culture and nature. Our mentors guide youth and families through adolescence by creating a village of resources and support.

Our program begins in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade and runs through the Fall of 9th grade. We run on a seasonal/school year calendar, and usually enroll in Spring for the following Fall. Groups are each 8 youth, with 2 adult Leaders, and an Elder, organized by age, grade and usually gender.
