Prenatal Support Groups

Parent Q&A

  • Queer Prenatal Support Groups?

I'm looking for a queer centered prenatal group for my second pregnancy. The first time around it just wasn't the best fit for my partner and me. We're hoping for a little education but mostly community in a queer prenatal group. Any leads?

Have you looked into the services of Meghan Lewis?  She is the founder of the LGBTQ Perinatal Wellness Associates ( and also runs support groups in Oakland at Then Comes Baby.  Here is her website:

There is also a wonderful non-profit called Our Family Coalition, which might have what you are looking for:

    Best wishes!

You might want to check out Rebecca Plum as well as Megan Lewis and see if either of them may have groups that would be a good fit. They may be able to recommend other resources if they don't have any current groups.

    Hey y'all,

After doing a little more research I found that Pacifica Family Maternity Center is about to have a queer group pop-up. Found this info in the Queer Mamas group I'm apart of! If anyone knows of any others, let me know. <3
