When do City of Berkeley after school program registrations open

Hello! Does anyone know when the City of Berkeley opens enrollment for various after school programs at the city parks? The website shows registration slots for the next 2 months, so I'm curious if anyone has experience with signing up for these programs and can share some of the timing and logisitics of signing up? (for context, we're looking at the after school programs that potentially bus TK-ers from Malcolm X).

Thanks!

It's been two years since I did it, but I recall it opening distressingly late, like in early August, just a week or two before school actually started for the year. (I don't know if this is normal or if it was Covid re-entry issues.) And then what happens once you get in (if you get in) is that you still have to sign up for the next month, every month, but that it opens to current aftercare students earlier. If all the spots get taken up by current students, sign-ups never open to new students. So these are probably the registration slots you see open now.

And then arranging the bus was also not completely straightforward and required actually speaking to someone on the phone.

I should say that once things got arranged, it worked very well. The teachers at Malcolm X made sure my TKer got on the right bus, and they had fun at the aftercare.

I also have an incoming MX TKer. I could not get anyone from the city on the phone or to return messages about this. I went to the office in person. The city worker told me that enrollment right now is only open to priority students, which are the students who enrolled previously. All other people can sign up July 1 at 9am.
