Wellness coach/trainer for retiree

I am somewhat recently retired, and am in need of improving my old body.  I am looking for someone who can motivate and  guide me in losing weight, moving again within replaced joints limitations and chronic pain, and develop more energy.  Anyone know of a place and/or person who can help me?  Or, where I can find such a person?

I am a member of the 24-Hour Fitness in El Cerrito and there is a personal trainer on staff there who works specifically with older members, at all levels of fitness or lack thereof. Maybe all gyms have someone like this? The personal trainers go through a lot of training to get certified, so I would think they are pretty knowledgeable. Good luck!

Hi—would you consider joining a great group of mostly older women who work out on machines sized and designed for women. Many of us love this and it is keeping us fit and strong. It is a lot cheaper than a coach and social as well. Lots of great retired women work out. We are located in Rockridge.

Look for Dario Mathias, a personal trainer at Anytime Fitness on Solano Av (he can also see you at your own home). He is great with seniors - he did a ton of courses focusing on this population and customizes the program to the clients' special needs. Very friendly and very knowledgeable - he also has a bachelor degree on exercise science.

Carrie Villa is my personal trainer. She is wonderful.

She works mostly with women over 40's
