Have you tried the rainbow butter cookies at Cupcakin Bakery, which moved into the old Virginia Bakery location? I was also heartbroken that I’d never have VB’s cookies again, but these are pretty close in flavor, if not quite in appearance. And maybe they would have a recipe to share?
The new tenant - Cupcakin' - has the recipe for the old magical Virginia Bakery rainbow sprinkle cookies (which are basically just butter cookies with sprinkles, right?) and sell them!
