Thoughts on JCC Preschool?
Would any current JCC preschool parents be willing to share their thoughts on the school? The BPN reviews are a couple years old, and in light of the leadership and teacher turnover a few years ago, it'd be great to get a fresh perspective. It'd be particularly to hear about the school's skillfulness in navigating socio-emotional development and implementing an emergent / Reggio-ish approach. Thanks so much!

Hi. Our kid is in the two year olds class there. School and teachers are great. Our kid really loves it, and the school has been so supportive as our kid has reached important developmental milestones (learning, potty training, etc). We really enjoy the Jewish education.
Make sure to look at the closure calendar. The school is closed all the time. Best for families with incredible family support, lots of vacation time, or money to burn on a nanny.
To throw it out there, we send our kids to Berkeley Hills Nursery School and they are Reggio-ish. We love them. They have recent, fantastic reviews on BPN. My older kid is about to end his time there and my younger son is starting at Berkeley Hills this Fall. For my older son, the school has been fantastic at social-emotional.
