Seeking swim instructor for child with special needs
Hello. I'm seeking swimming lessons for my son with a private swim instructor who has experience in and is knowledgeable about teaching young children with special needs and who has access to a heated pool. Does anyone have a recommendation?

Ohana Aquatics was great for us in this regard!
Patti’s swim school has been great for my 5 year old. It’s expensive, but has been worth it for us. My kiddo was paralyzed with fear 2 months ago and just passed level 1. They teach many students with special needs.

Harriet Plummer Aquatics in Lafayette. Heated year round. 20 min lessons with a private instructor (there are a handful of other kids around with their own respective instructors.) My special needs child loves it and is making slow but steady progress (after a year+ he can swim independently, tread water, even do the backstroke). I hope it works out for you!
