Seeking Japanese tutor for non-native speaker
Hi! My son started learning Japanese informally with a tutor last year for fun, but she isn't available anymore! Does anyone know of a Japanese tutor who has experience (and is interested in!) working with a young enthusiastic beginner? He is in 5th grade and our family does not speak Japanese. Thanks!!

Hi there, our daughter attends a Japanese school in Pleasanton on Sundays. She really enjoys it and is learning quite a bit. It's called Sakura Gakuen. You should check it out to see if your son would be interested in classes there. Good luck!

He used to teach Japanese at Sacred Heart High School in SF. Studied and worked in Japan and has a BA in Japanese from Notre Dame University. He has a lot of experience working with teens, young adults, and individuals with disabilities.
