Seeking Babysitter in Paris
Hello, my family is going to a wedding outside of Paris and we are looking for a babysitter just for the night for our 7 month old. The wedding is at a chateau, so the sitter would be able to hang out in our room and come get us if they need anything for the baby. Does anyone have recommendations for a specific babysitter, an app, or a service that they used and worked well for them? The internet provides a lot of options, but we'd feel most comfortable with a personal referral. Thanks!

We used a service called tripsitta to get connected to a babysitter for our (then) 10 month old in Paris and got connected with a wonderful sitter. If helpful, I could try to find her name, but it was a few years ago- either way, would recommend the service!

I've hired babysitters around the world and they've been consistently better (by a lot) than the average sitter in the U.S. If you contact the chateau, they will probably have suggestions for someone local, and it is in their interests to ensure that it is someone reliable and safe. It might end up being a relative of someone who works there, and again this often works out very well. Good luck and enjoy!
