Reviews for Teeter Tots in El Cerrito?

Hi BPNers,

I would like to hear from parents who currently or recently sent their kids to Teeter Tots in El Cerrito. We’ve read mixed reviews elsewhere and BPN has only older reviews. Any specific pros and cons that you've experienced would be helpful. Is the program well run? How is the teacher-student ratio and types of activity/learning level? Is communication with parents good? Any concerns about how kids are treated by the teachers, such as disciplining techniques, etc? Looking to potentially send our daughter when she is 2 years old.

You are 100% over thinking it! It is a city-run less-than-part time preschool and absolutely great for what it is. My daughter (now 7) went from age 22 months to 3.5y; they helped with socializing, handwashing, potty, play etiquette, and she worked on being away from mommy. It is a really soft entry into the world of school, very affordable, and a good way to meet other local families. We still see Tots (and Casa) families everyday in elementary school. I heartily recommend Tots for the littlest toddlers!
