Recommendations for private middle schools for 2E boy
I'm looking for recommendations for private middle schools, preferably in Oakland/Berkeley, for my 10 y.o. son who is 2E (gifted, ADHD Combined, social anxiety) for 2022-2023 school year. He especially loves and excels in art and science; he struggles more with the social piece (i.e making friends). He needs a socially/emotionally supportive environment and teachers who really understand how to work with 2E kids. Thanks!

We have had a great experience at Prospect Sierra for middle school with my daughter who meets many of the 2E criteria.
We've just joined the Berkwood Hedge school, which has added a middle school. Our child is not yet in middle school, but we've been so impressed in the first few weeks with how they've supported our 2E child. Do check them out! We feel so fortunate to have joined this community.
