Recent Experience with Giggles in Rockridge?

Hi BPN Community,

We're looking at preschools in Rockridge, including at Giggles (near Colby Park) but the most recent review is from 2018.  Unfortunately they're not allowing parents to tour while school is in session (only able to view the facilities in the evening) so wondering if anyone has any recent experience at the school that they'd be willing to share?  We'd love to know how you found the teachers, what your experience with the administration was like, how they handled covid/illnesses - basically, anything you'd be willing to share.

Thank you!

I had two kiddos that went through Giggles and we loved it. My daughter “graduated” last year so she could attend TK.
They handled the pandemic as best as anyone could ask with all of the changes and uncertainties at the beginning. Some adjustments included no longer allowing parents in the building and removing shoes at the door (kids have a school only pair). At the time of our enrollment, masks were required but I can’t speak to their policy now.

All of the staff were incredibly caring and wonderful. Miss Carmen is very communicative and a great director. Teachers Karen and Marta were truly loving with my kids. Miss Patty joined for our daughters last year but was a quick favorite as well.
Their curriculum is great yet still heavily play focused which was important to us. The kids always came home with wonderful art projects and stories from their day. They do a wonderful job of highlighting different cultures through various celebrations (a mix of parents allowed and kids only).
Needless to say, we highly recommend them!
