Quality roofer needed
Our house is need of a new roof and we would very much appreciate any recommendations for a quality roofing company which is operated by careful, knowledgeable, experienced, skilled and conscientious owners. We would be grateful for recommendations from those who have had personal contact with this type of roofer in the past 5-6 years. We live in Oakland. Many thanks.

I had a great experience with Pacific Coast Roof. Their estimate was not the most expensive, and it wasn't the cheapest either--somewhere in the middle. I especially appreciated the communication that preceded the roof replacement: direct, clear, detail-oriented. When I had questions about specific costs or materials, they were answered without any overlay of defensiveness or the suggestion that I was being overly involved in the process. The replacement happened on the day it was scheduled and on time, even when we discovered a problem that we hadn't been aware of before. They left the property clean. I can recommend them without reservation.
