Outdoor Spiral Staircase
Hello,
Does anyone have a recommendation for someone to design and install an exterior, spiral staircase, or, alternatively had success ordering a spiral staircase online as a DIY kit? We need something with a bit of style as it will be for a Victorian home, and ideally paintable. I'd be interested to hear your experience. This is to access a second story, above-garage studio that was built around the turn of the century.

Consider having to carry furniture, refrig, oven, up that spiral staircase. Often there is an alternative if there is space. Or creating a deck or large landing at the apartment's level, in order to get the stairway to come out where you want it to.
My contractor husband says "Stocklin Iron" in Santa Rosa are the go-to folks for metal spiral staircases.
They installed a GG bridge orange painted one in my Mom's SF Edwardian. It's gorgeous!
