Out of pocket mri recommendations.
Hi,
Can anyone recommend a place to have an mri privately? Also, though this is not the only reason I would like the mri, has anyone who has had a mastectomy had an mri post surgery?
1. I have another area I'd like to check.
2. Post mastectomy only seems to only recommend hand palpitations on the chest tissue.

Hello! I had a double mastectomy in March 2020, and got pregnant after my breast reconstruction surgery. My breast surgeon recommended an MRI a few months after I gave birth just to check everything. Did you have an MRI before the mastectomy? The process was exactly the same. It might be worth asking your breast surgeon or oncologist for, as they may recommend it, and then you won’t have to pay privately.
