Need coaching help to stick to work and exercise commitments

I’m just returning to work (self employed writer) after a 18 months off, caring for ill family members.   But I find it hard to maintain a regular schedule for exercise and work.   My challenge is not only with re-starting a routine, but of maintaining self-commitment and confidence.

My first question is, is this an area for a life coach or counselor?

My second question, can you recommend a person who can advise/ guide/ assist me in practical ways to get back on track?   Thank you to anyone who reaches out, and I will appreciate contact info as well as name.

I've been working with Joyce for the past year and she's been great to work with. We set up a schedule that gradually helps get to both my exercise and nutrition goals while I'm a busy mom working full time. She's all about maintenance and self care. Highly recommend working with her! Her website: https://procoach.app/joyce-sherman

Yes, a life coach would be great support for you.  I highly recommend La Rhonda Crosby-Johnson.  She's an amazing listener, supporter, and strategist.

Good luck!

Hi! I think that having other folks to be accountable to can help with motivation. I'm definitely interested in getting more active if you'd like to meet up to hike or work out, etc.

Hey! I work with a great life coach named Lena Chervin who I can't recommend enough! I struggle with executive dysfunction which makes it hard for me to stay on task and keep up long-term routines even when those routines make me feel great. She helped me create self-accountability tools and guided me in structuring my home and work life to best fit my needs and find sustainable solutions to my challenges. She helped me address everything from my client calendars to exercise routines. She's been a godsend.

Lena can be reached by text at 510-560-4274 or email lenachervin [at] gmail.com

If you happen to have Kaiser, they have a coaching program that's free! You meet with your coach by phone, and each session is 20-30 minutes.

It is not in depth work, but I found it helpful and really liked my coaches (I've worked with two). You get assigned a coach according to who is available, and you stick with that coach.

You are allowed six coaching sessions per year.
