How to self-publish my father's memoir

My father is writing a memoir which he is sending to us in word documents via email.  I want to use an online service to put it together in a book.  Does anyone have any recommendations of which service to use?  Thanks so much.

Maybe look into KDP Amazon printing. It would print the book on demand when it is ordered.

You could try something like bookbaby.com. I think Powell's Books in Portland used to provide this service as well but I'm not seeing anything on their website. If you're looking to just get a single copy bound, a local copy shop like Copy Central or business service center like Kinkos may be able to help.

The Oakland Public Library has a subscription to a service called biblioboard which is a free self-publishing tool. You can upload a pdf or word docs and it seems pretty easy to navigate. I'm not 100% sure if there's an option to print your book once it's complete, or if it's e-book only, but it's worth asking at the library for more info. Also there is an intro to biblioboard program coming up on 6/26: https://www.oaklandlibrary.org/events/online-or-phone/introducing-oakla…
