Try Jennifer Subasic-Marks’s group in Emeryville. The comraderie with the other mothers is lovely and can last well beyond the official group.
Jennifer Subasic-Marks at Support Group for Mothers offers great moms groups. She has a lot of experience and is a great facilitator. We met with her once a week and then a had a planned separate outing together every week. We met in the Loving Arms Birth & Parenting space. Not Rockridge, but easy to get to. Congratulations on the arrival of your little one! I’ve really enjoyed the parent-child classes offered through the Berkeley Rose Waldorf School in north Oakland. I’ve participated in their classes for 1-3 year olds, but have heard their mothering circle offering is a very sweet and encouraging group for babies/parents in the first year. I’ve met great friends and found support, a space for sharing and also deep learnings on topics of parenthood in the courses I’ve taken through their community offerings. I hope you find a great fit!
