looking for cosleeper options

My mom, Beah Haber, has been a community midwife for a long time.  She has recommended using a cosleeper but is not familiar with today's options, We are having our first baby and would love recommendations for cosleepers.  Also, does anyone have any leads to a family who is looking to sell theirs?

Thank you, Mara Willard

We used an Arm's Reach co-sleeper. There are bunch of different models. We found ours used on craigslist and we've used for two kids, it was used for two kids before we bought it and we lent it out to two different friends. So, it has really held up well. If you can find a good quality on on craigslist that might be a good way to go.

The most popular one in the US is the Arm's Reach.  I had one with my first kid and it was OK.  I thought it was not only hideous, but also cheap/rickety, and functionally I didn't love how there was a lip / the mattress was not flush with the bed.  That said, it's fairly affordable.  Link: http://www.totscoop.com/search/brand/arm-s-reach-concepts

With my second, I splurged on a BabyBay, and I loved it fantastic.  It's true sidecar style, so you it's a more continuous experience and you can even breastfeed while baby is in it.  If it's within your budget, totally recommend checking it out...   Link: http://www.totscoop.com/products/1189/babybay-co-sleeper

Snuggle me Organic is AMAZING. I saw someone selling theirs on the BPN recently.
