Local supplier of carriage doors?
We have an old flip up garage door on our 1926 home that we'd like to replace with carriage style doors. We're looking for affordable, paint-grade doors and installation. Any recommendations?

We got a pair of doors from Urban Ore to replace the flip-up door, and hired a contractor to install them. It's easier to install doors if they come pre-hung (that is, with the frame that supports the doors). Urban Ore has tons of doors, but finding the right ones for your purposes is a matter of looking carefully and luck. I'd recommend finding the contractor first, then look for the doors, so that s/he can approve them. Make sure the doors are adequate for exterior use.
There are other salvage yards that carry doors, not just Urban Ore.
