Likelihood of enrolling off the waitlist at The Berkeley School
Due to some unforeseen problems at my child's current preschool, I decided to look for alternatives, unfortunately a little too late. We're #1 on the waitlist for The Berkeley School's mixed age program. Has anyone had success enrolling either at the beginning or mid year after being waitlisted? Obviously no two situations are unique and I can imagine there are many factors at play. I also realize enrolling late greatly impacts our ability to receive financial aid too, which is a major consideration.

We are starting there in the fall so don't have any past experience. When we were touring last November I think they had some immediate openings, so if you're able to wait a bit there may be a chance. They do have a very strict tuition policy for dropping out mid-year though, so that argues against any new openings after a certain point. I would just ask the office whether they have any expectations, they have been very responsive.
