We purchased a Dimension One Spa from Dublin Spa Center in Dublin.  That was about 15 years ago and it still looks good and we've only had two minor repairs in 15 years.

If I could offer your some advice.  Most hot tubs are made to last a little over five years.  I would not buy Jacuzzi or any of the spas with the marble resin finish.  The finish fades after a few years and starts looking terrible.  I shopped around before buying from Dublin Spas and did a fair amount of research before deciding on Dimension One.  I have no regrets and still use it almost daily .

We have a 6 foot Bullfrog in our teeny Berkeley Bungalow backyard. It uses electricity and we have solar panels so we feel like we're getting a "free" hot tub! We were able to place it on a concrete patio that was already there, so all I needed to do was have it delivered, add water, and turn it on. It was uncomplicated. I'm not sure if that's your situation, but it's worth considering.

We bought ours from Berkeley Heat (the old Tubmakers) on Ashby and I wouldn't recommend them. We had a lot of minor communication problems that were not the end of the world, but added up. For example, after I filled in the tub and used it twice, I realized I should have bought a spa cover lifter (I've been placing it on the ground -- a cover lifter would allow the cover to hang over the edge of the spa) . I called and asked them to order one for me, which they did, but they didn't tell me that the lifter for my particular spa would require me to empty all the water out. I balked because of the drought, etc, didn't want to waste the water, asked for a refund for the spa lifter, which THEY balked at, because then they would have a spa cover (they apparently couldn't return to the manufacturer) in their store. Which is fine, OK, I guess I should have considered all of that before I made the purchase (but they didn't share any non-refund policy ahead of time). Overall, their sales/customer service was lacking: 1) When I first bought the tub, they never suggested I should get a stool to help me get into the tub, so I ended up having to go back there and buy one. Fine, ok. My bad. I'm short, maybe taller people can get in and out no problem. 2) They didn't tell me about the spa cover lifter situation when I ordered it. Fine, ok. 3) They have a delivery person, but Berkeley Heat doesn't make the delivery appointments, so they gave me his number, and it took a while to make that happen -- a lot of back and forth. 4) They didn't go over how to fill the tub, which chemicals to add and when, nor how to maintain the tub. I used the manual and figured it out, which is fine. But I thought it was weird that they just sold it to me, gave me a bag of chemicals, gave me the delivery person's cell number, and showed me the door. Every interaction with Berkeley Heat was awkward and weird. I thought it was weird that they didn't try to "sell" me more stuff, or at least educate me on what effect my choices would have. And every time I went in there, it was empty so it's not like they dropped the ball because there were so many customers they couldn't help us all at the same time. So anyway, as I said, not a huge deal but disappointing. I'm looking forward to seeing other responses so that I can see where to go when I next need support.

Hello, We purchased our jacuzzi from New Products in San Rafael  Phone number(415) 883-0477 about two years and we love it. They've been there for a long time and when my husband and i went to the store old customers kept coming by to get supplies or chat with the owner. The owner is serious, knowledgeable and courteous. I think and electrician did our installation, or they may do it, I don't remember. They are very responsible with the products they sell. They have a year warranty I believe and they will come and fix any problems you may have. When we had a leak they came and fixed it promptly and at no charge. At least you need to go talk to them before you make a decision to find out about the quality of their products, their service and their knowledge. Good luck, you are going to love your jacuzzi, we are sorry we didn't buy ours years ago.
