ISO hairstylist for tween with wavy hair who doesn’t like curls

Hi community! ISO a hairstylist for my 12 year old daughter. She has thick, wavy hair with some course areas. During her last two cuts with a curly stylist, the stylist cut it shorter than she wanted and put in a bunch of layers. My daughter didn’t like it because she wants to keep it long and wants less curl. She’s now apprehensive of getting another cut, but the tangles are tough, and she really needs one. Thank you!
