Information on MetWest HS
Hi, I'm looking for information about MetWest. I am considering sending my very intelligent, hands-on, reading/writing disabled, son. I'm interested in knowing how the academics are, how the special education department is, their social-emotional program, parent involvement, school culture, drug culture and more about the internships. I have been able to find very little on-line.

MetWest is very small, and I'm guessing only a tiny fraction of families there are BPN readers, so you may have a tough time getting responses from parents. I strongly recommend going to visit the school in person--it's a wonderful and unique program with a great track record, though not the right fit for every student. Do be aware that it is also in very high demand, and typically has a waitlist that far exceeds the available spots--you can't just decide to attend. You may have better luck if you're open to moving your son mid-year.
