How to Find a House for Rent in Berkeley
We are considering moving to Berkeley in May (from Seattle) and looking for a 3+ bedroom house to rent for our family (me, my husband, one year old son, and golden retriever). What is the best way to find nice rental property in the area? Someone suggested using a realtor, do they help with rental property searches? Any suggestions on who?

We used a realtor to find a rental when we moved from Texas last summer. It is especially helpful in this area and when you are not in town to see every rental available. He also helped to negotiate the price down for us a couple hundred dollars a month which was an unanticipated bonus. The realtor we used is named Greg Ericks and his phone is 1-925-408-3846.
Just wanted to say we are considering moving to Kirkland around the same time (couple with two little ones). Probably selling our home instead of renting it out and will buy up there, but we should talk and share tips about life here and there!
