High school French 3 over the summer
My high school sophomore wants to take French 3 over the summer after completing 2 years (9th and 10th grade). So far she has found two programs: UC Scouts and Accelerate Online Academy. Local Peralta colleges don't offer French 3 until the Fall. Has anyone had experiences with these two online programs? My understanding is that it's actually broken down into two semesters so she would have to take Semester 1 in the Summer and take Semester 2 in the Fall which could put a strain on her Fall HS courseload but she is insisting it's ok. Does anyone know of an actual accelerated online French 3 course that is just over the Summer? Thanks!

I also have a French scholar, although his enjoyment of the language does not extend to working over the summer. :) Is your student wanting h.s. credit for the course, or just to get ahead enough to survive French 4 as a junior? I suppose either way, the French teacher, the high school counselor, or the Alliance Francaise de Berkeley should have thoughts or recommendations.
